Follow the clues into the secret corners of Renaissance Florence as you help Lorenzo the Magnificent find the mysterious Elixir of Happiness and protect it from the austere Friar Savonarola.
This alternative and fun Florence adventure will take you through a curated itinerary made of secret courtyards, iconic landmarks, ancient boutiques and delicious local eateries – away from the crowded touristy things you’d find on a regular tour!
It’s perfect for couples, young adults, families with kids aged 8+, school trips and anyone seeking a unique and fun way to actively explore the city, learn a little about the Renaissance, and make cherished memories along the way.
You have maximum flexibility: you can start anytime between 10am-7pm and take all the breaks you want. Plus, you get a delicious sweet surprise at the end!

When and where do we start?
Each hunt has specific opening hours, but we strive to make them available every day of the week, all day long – so you can simply start when you’re ready to!
The start point depends on the itinerary you select: we usually privilege central but quieter back streets.
Once you book your tickets, you’ll be sent all the details!
What kind of things will we do / see?
Our urban adventures are a mix between an outdoor escape game, a treasure hunt and a walking tour: you get to play a part in a historically themed story, interact with real life characters and most of all, we make sure to lead you to beautiful spots a little outside the usual tourist paths.
You’ll see plenty of the city: from secret courtyards to monuments, but also local eateries, interesting businesses and beautiful boutiques.
How do we receive clues and guidance?
It’s super simple: all you need is a charged phone and a functioning WhatsApp number with a data plan. We will send you instructions directly on WhatsApp.
We do not keep your phone number and cannot initiate contact with you unless you choose to message us first.
How long does it take?
That’s up to you: you can take anything from 1.5 hours to the whole day to ‘complete’ the hunts. You’re always free to linger, deviate or skip stops.
What language is it in?
You can play in English or Italian: we recommend you have a good level of fluency in order to appreciate the language nuances of some of the riddles.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes, but we recommend children are aged 7+ and supervised by adults.
Our riddles, clues and instructions don’t require any particular experience or knowledge.
Finally, whilst the effective length of each hunt is short of 2 miles and breaks can be factored in at any point, we recommend not bringing children who are not comfortable with walking such distances.
Why is the cost charged per individual and what does it cover?
We price per individual as part of what makes Invisible Streets’s adventures so much better than a regular treasure hunt is that it includes curated treats and prizes for each player: you wouldn’t want one of you to go empty handed!
We are a large group. Is it suitable?
Our treasure hunts are designed with school trips and students of all ages in mind.
We do not advertise alcohol and do not stop at any night life venue.
The adventures are meant to be enjoyed in teams, which enables students to bond and engage.
